Nominator was developed under the UK deregulation programme and subsequently has a wealth of Gas and Electricity industry experience built into it. It is designed around a core system with additional bespoke modules to accommodate clients' specific needs efficiently and cost effectively.
It has been designed with a non-technical user in mind; for easy use by both operational and management staff. No programming or statistical skills are needed to operate Nominator.
Nominator is used to produce:
- Short- term energy demand forecasts for submission to the System Operator (Transporter) generating forecasts in any time frequency.
- Medium-term forecasts to enable efficient procurement of energy and to implement effective risk management.
- Long-term forecasts to provide a valuable decision support for company's growth and expansion plans.
